Duane and Ana Perry

Omaha Military Shepherd & Staff Representative

+Duane grew up as an Iowa farm boy and Ana is Hispanic originally from Cuba.  They met in Maryland while Ana was on active duty in the Navy.  Duane graduated from Iowa State where he was involved with the Navigators.  After completing 4 years of military service, he served as a Navy civilian employee at Patuxent River, MD while ministering with the Navigators to military personnel. In 1980, Duane moved to Germany to minister full time with the Navigators to the military community.  Duane and Ana got married in 1981 and several weeks later Ana joined him in Germany. They lived overseas for the next 12 years and ministered with The Navigators to military men and women in Germany, Spain, and England sharing Christ’s love, discipling men and women, and training future leaders in generational life on life ministry.

Following their time overseas, Duane and Ana moved to Omaha to continue to minister with The Navigators to military personnel at Offutt Air Force Base. In addition to leading the local ministry, Duane has served as a regional leader, as part of the Military Leaders’ team, staff trainer, and staff supervisor.

They have six children who were all born overseas.  They are all grown, walking with Jesus, and involved in discipling and ministering to others. Currently, five children are married and they have 12 grandchildren. They have experienced the joy of seeing their passion “to know Christ and to make Him known”,  and to invest life on life in future generations who will in turn multiply their lives by investing in others become a reality through their physical children as well as through spiritual generations.
